Terms of Service

About Eigencore

Eigencore operates AI-assisted hardware design tools including Tracewise (PCB design review) and Modewise (silicon photonics design and review), available at eigencore.io and its subdomains. By using any Eigencore service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Nature of the service

Eigencore tools provide AI-generated analysis and design assistance. All output is advisory only. It is not a substitute for professional engineering review, certified DRC, manufacturer DFM verification, or foundry sign-off.

AI-generated layouts, analyses, and recommendations may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for verifying all output before making design, fabrication, or purchasing decisions.

Your content and intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all files you upload and all designs you generate. Eigencore does not claim any rights to your schematic, layout, BOM, GDS, or other design data.

Uploaded files are processed in memory and are not stored, logged, or retained by Eigencore after your session ends. File content is transmitted to the Anthropic API for AI analysis; Anthropic processes this data under their own terms of service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts or bots to submit requests at scale
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits through any means
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws
• Upload files containing malware or code designed to compromise our systems

No warranties

Eigencore services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations that generated designs will be fabrication-ready, DRC-clean, functionally correct, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eigencore and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to costs incurred from acting on AI-generated analysis, PCB re-spins, tape-out runs, or component procurement decisions.

Service availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice. Rate limits may be adjusted at our discretion.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of any Eigencore service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
